A walking tour of Alicante will allow you to get to know the city in an easy and unobtrusive manner, to feel it.
Alicante Walking Tour is the best way to discover the city, its history, and its most iconic viewpoints. During this guided tour, we explore the Old Town of Alicante, walk along the famous Esplanade boulevard, and climb to the Santa Bárbara Castle, located 166 meters above the sea with panoramic views of the bay, port and surrounding mountains. We continue our route through one of the most picturesque areas of the city — Barrio Santa Cruz. Its narrow, winding streets, flower-decorated houses and quiet squares create the atmosphere of old Alicante, untouched by time. The tour also includes the main architectural highlights: Santa María Church, City Hall, and the Cathedral of St. Nicholas. If the tour takes place in the morning, we can visit the interior of the City Hall. A separate part of the walk is dedicated to local gastronomy. In the Central Market, surrounded by aromas and colours, you will learn about traditional Spanish delicacies and the famous Alicante wine Fondillón, which you can taste along with local sweets such as turrón. This walking tour is suitable for travellers who want to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Alicante, enjoy its viewpoints, history and authentic Mediterranean life.
