The bike tour is the best way to explore Alicante. Starts from Alicante old town to the palm park “Palmeral”. Bikes are included.

Exploring Alicante by bike is so fun, informative, and amusing!

A bike tour is a perfect way to get to know our unforgettable town. We start from the Promenade Explanada and the harbor and will ride to Palmeral Park.

Just imagine: you are riding as if ready to rise above the ordinary and fly; a gentle sea breeze is fanning your face, and beautiful views make you forget any adversity in everyday life.

However, we certainly are going to take breaks from riding to stay both rested and well-informed: you will be narrated the history of the town, see the most “iconic”  places in Alicante and even have a chance to drop in its “non-touristy” corners, the townspeople’s haunts.

On our way, we will see the Santa Barbara Castle, the seaport, romantic squares, Mushroom Street with its funny flies and snails, and the Town Hall building.

“El Palmeral” is the biggest palm tree park in Alicante. It is located a bit away from the downtown area so tourists usually do not get there. But, really, they should not miss a perfect opportunity to relax in the shade of palm trees that provide the best shelter from the burning heat on sunny days and enjoy peace and quiet.

In palm park, we will stop for a while and take a walk along its shady paths. If we get to the park in the morning time, we can take a free 20-minute boat trip or just have a little picnic under the canopy of century-old palm trees.

For the strong cyclists, a ride up to the Santa Barbara Castle may be arranged; such options would have to be agreed upon in advance.
